Sangheili vs Black Templar Space Marine
A religious Zealot vs a Champion of Humanity with little to none tolerance for other species. The Bolter vs the Plasma Rifle. Who emergences victorious?
Took me two days to make this. More to follow. Any match ups you all have in mind I'd like to hear
space marine who has a chainsaw blade,with bolter,no mercy,and heavy armor.
OR
an Elite with a energy sword,plasma rifle,no mercy,and and enegy shield.

Couldn't get it when I was a kid. The closest thing I had to that was Roller Coaster Tycoon. It did give me the power to build holding cells for those who hated my park or make them hopelessely lost and then drown them if need be.

So are you for the Elite or the Templar? Take into account the weapondry that these guys use: Meta Guns, Plasma cannons, Bolters (machine guns that shoot slugs, not bullets), laser cannons, etc.
Also take into account the Sangheili strict military codes that is like taking Sparta's society with the Knights Templar.
I'm putting my money on the Templar.

Elite would win, especially with an oversheild, or active-camo to assassinate from behind and insta-KO him

I'm not doing characters like that. No transformers, no cartoonie characters and a big no to Nintendo characters. I just feel like they've been done before to many times you know?
There is two that did piss me off and I'll be doing the match up. The next I'll do is a old (and the only overdone match up I'll do) one: A Imperial Star Destroyer II vs the Enterprise.
Well just look at him! Superior protection and motivation goes a long way. A good defense is the best offense. If the elite would go at him mano y mano (and drop the cheating plasma sword) then the Templar goes all the way.

Marine. Elites are so fragile. Two melees only in Halo3, 4 in Halo 2.
Marine- hell, I don't even know their durability, but I know it's pretty damn high.

And yes, I do like mecha anime and games.
So do I but I don't know about the giant robots. I've always found them a irksome topic as they just seem illogical from a military standpoint.
As a good clash up; Faust from Guilty Gear vs. Voldo from the Soul Calibur series. A good fight between some seriously messed up characters.

Normally that would be a guarenteed win for him, but remember that all Space Marines have auguments that make them practically super human and their armor was made to withstand attacks from most weapons including plasma since maost races have access to plasma technology.
