Comic pt6

Posted by eightball6219 - July 16th, 2009

Before I begin this, I want make this clear. The Red Republic story is not like the ERS one where the Marines were dealing with escaping a zombie-infested city (age old tale). The Red Republic deals with more of a origins story of the virus. Throughout the story I'll be putting in Russian words to make it seem more authentic (if my translations suck, sorry but what do you expect? I'm a English speaking American. It's kinda hard to learn another language in a week so BACK OFF!!!!). Throughout the story modern Russian will be refered to as the Old Langauge. It might be confusing to some, but it will clear up as it goes.

EDIT: Fuck it. I'm not putting any Russian up. I can't type in Russian and when I copy and paste the translation it nevers does it right.

Caption: 7th Alyosha Battalion. We heard the reports and stories from Kardian, but never heeded it. Undead, whoever heard such a thing? Unfortunatly we have paided for our ignorance. A mining site outside New Kiev (%u041D%u043E%u0432%u044B%u0439 Kiev) has erupted with the virus. Bodies from the dig (uncovered from a archaeological dig) rose up and attacked the diggers. Apparently underneath the city was a system of catacombs left from a previous civilzation. The undeads on the surface are taken care of. Not too hard to kill bodies over 1000 years old so now we're sending teams down underneath to get a idea of just what is going on.

Okay, good job on the translations. I was born in Moscow, and am fluent in Russian, so if you need any help I'm always available.

And great story.

Dude that's great. I'm definitly gonna go to you cause I want to make this more real (culturaly). You'll be hearing from me soon

Keep 'em comming... The art work is the best in this one.

Thanks, but the gunshot I did is way too crooked. It was late when I did it.

Blame it on strong winds. lol

Right on

Or the gun just misfired.

Maybe, but then how'd the zombie's head go boom?

You planed a grenade in his mouth to make it go boom. Blood and guts eveywhere. Soldier coverd in zombie brains.

Good thing for the armor otherwise they'd be infected

I thought that the only way you could get infected was if one was to bite you like how rabies is spread.

Zombies infect through two methods: bites and....bodily fluids (google it). The zombie's mouth mutates with the virus to make the jaw muscles stronger to shred through skin, muscle and bone. Another trait is that the mouth transmits the virus like a Komodo Dragon bite.

The second method is when blood comes in contact with a wound or oriface (usually the mouth, but you know there are sick motherfuckers out there). Since it is a virus there will be traces in the bloodstream and the virus cannot live without being inside a host...or blood of a host (that is not indefinite either as virus living in spilled blood has a life of three days). If a soldier or civilian kills one without proper head and face gear then there is a chance that blood can get inside the mouth and that's all the virus needs to survive and spread and it will be closer to its intended target: the brain, specifically the medulla oblongata and nervous systems that control muscle functions. Infection from blood in the mouth to a bite near or at the head can result in death and reanimation in less than a hour (depending on immune system status)

Eight, you watch way too many zombie moves.

Actually I do random google searchs and one of them I found a few zombie sites (fake zombie protection agencies).

Sign me up! You never know when a zombie will try to break into the house.

I'm not aprat of the group. Me and my friends do have a zombie plan though

Why does that not surprise me

Boredom can cause werid things

That it can....Oh look a bunny....

and that is a flaw that newgrounds doesn't recognize cyrillic.

lol I found the cure for boredom. http://www.bored.com/

Hm...well done drawing, once again! :D
