53rd Kardian, Day 6. Around noon the first teams were sent out to grab survivors. The first stop was a mall south of the ship. Older reports showed that there was some fifteen survivors and several police officers. When we entered instead of grateful survivors we were greeted with death and hungry undead cannibals. So far we've rescued people, Colonial soldiers and Marines in six locations. Three others were just dead zones where we cleared out all the zombies. There are still ten more that need to be checked out. Hopefully tomorrow we can make a move for the spaceport and will be able to get off this hellhole.

so the 53rd kardian is like a military group?
Battalion. Each ERS planet has at least six Marine batallions at a time. More can be there, but it depends what the planet has itself (ex: Planets with R&D facilities, planets with major shipyards, training facilities, high governemt sites). The majority of planet security is left to the Colonial Army. Their numbers come from planet volunteers. The Army has the same basic training as Marines, but they're special training is more foucsed on ground terrian and airial combat. Maines have a jack of all trades ranging from ship assualt (taking a enemy ship or repelling invaders), etc.
